WELCOME TO MY CLASS!

Here's a little bit about me! I graduated from Florida Southwestern State College with my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education with Reading Endorsement and ESOL certification. This is my 5th year of teaching and my first year at Challenger Middle School.

 

I LOVE to learn, so I recently began working on my Masters of Arts in Reading with an Emphasis in Elementary education. I want my kids to love to learn, so I model that every day! 

 

I am a mom to 4 children, and I have been married for almost 22 years. I live in Cape Coral, and I have a very close family with my mom and dad, mother-in-law, and extended family all also living very close to me.

 

I love animals! We have 4 dogs, three HUGE saltwater fish tanks, and a beautiful bird. 

 

Being kind to one another is one of the most important things to me, so I will always encourage kindness and compassion, and good manners, too. 

 

 

I have experienced raising a child with multiple learning disabilities and I understand the stresses of education in a home where it is such a struggle. I am here for you, too!

 

I feel that teaching with technology is imperative. Our classes will always incorporate the use of technology. I believe that students should relate to the materials and topics being taught, and I love introducing new topics through the use of interactive notebooks that the students creatively make.

 

We also work on reading through the AR program which is very exciting to me. I LOVE READING!
